BECOME AN ANGEL

Hope Not Handcuffs brings law enforcement and community organizations together in an effort to find viable treatment options for individuals seeking help to reduce their dependence on any substance, prescription drugs, and alcohol.

Would you be interested in making a difference in the life of someone who suffers from drug or alcohol addiction? Donating just a little of your time could have a direct impact on a person’s path to recovery.

Contact us at (833)428-HOPE to learn more.

Hope Not Handcuffs, allows anyone struggling with a substance use disorder to go to any of 65 partnering law enforcement agencies and ask for help. Hope Not Handcuffs then dispatches a volunteer “Angel” to meet the participant at the location, offer support, and work with our Hopeline recovery specialists to assist the individual with getting placed into treatment.

Volunteer Angels are an integral part of Hope Not Handcuffs. If you’re a compassionate person who would like to be an Angel and make a difference in someone’s life, we need you! The hours are flexible and the work is incredibly rewarding. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Hope Not Handcuffs team, please follow the steps below and we will be in contact.

NOTE:  Hope Not Handcuffs requests a suggested donation of $10 to cover the Angel T-shirt and shipping costs. Information on how to donate will be sent following your training session.
